Dear Delegations,

We look forward to welcoming you on Sunday! When you arrive we will have a registration table set up with your registration package with your name tags and all the information you will need for the week and we will be on hand to answer any questions that you have!

 

Arrivals

We advise all delegations already in Denmark and Sweden to arrive in Landskrona from 17.00 onwards and have a late lunch/early dinner before you get to the accommodation. If you will not be arriving on the train that gets to Landskrona station at 17.09, please tell us in the below whats app group which train you will be on. This will help us to ensure that there are volunteers at the station to meet all groups.

 

There will be volunteers at Landskrona station to help you get to the accommodation, they will be wearing a CEI name badge, have a CEI sign and be on the platform. The first available time to check in is at 15.00. If you arrive before 15.00 you can leave your bags at the registration desk, however, you will have access to the housing.

 

We have created a Transport whatsapp group to answer all your transport questions that come up during your journey. If you have transport questions on the day or get stuck you can post in that group and we will be monitoring it. You can join the group in advance here. (Please note that both the airport and the trains have free wifi).

Tickets

It is better to have your whole group on one ticket. If there is more than one person travelling to the same place you will automatically get a discount. If you buy the tickets individually you will not get the discount. A youth ticket in Sweden covers youth between the ages of 7 years to 19 years old.

 

Meals on Sunday

On Sunday dinner will not be provided. There are a couple of options available these are outlined on our website Arrival day | CEI2024 Sweden (ceisweden.org)

Some of the options available are:

  • The supermarket is 15 minutes away by walking and closes at 22.00.

  • On the CEI website you will see items available in the store onsite at the accommodation.

  • You can also order food via an app called foodora (the app will need to be downloaded) and you will need to pay by card.

  • Please note the onsite restaurant will not be open at this time.

 

Slack

During the conference we will be using Slack (a messenger app) to share information, updates and to connect with online participants. Follow these instructions and download Slack in advance:

Dear Delegates,

We are excited to welcome you to CEI 2024 in Landskrona, Sweden.

 

Statement of Participation Form

This is the CEI participant statement for delegates attending the conference in-person. All participants of the CEI 2024 conference must carefully read and agree with the below policy concerning minors, data protection and privacy and social media policy. Please note, you MUST share this document with your delegates (and if appropriate, their guardians) before signing on their behalf. Teachers need to sign on behalf of their delegations. Please complete this form by Sunday 2nd of June 2024.

Confirmation of Details Form:

In the next couple of days a google sheet will be shared with all delegations (there are instructions on the sheet) but you will be asked to carefully check the names of your delegates, the names you would like on their name tags and other important information we require for the accommodation and food. Please note that all the food during the conference will be vegetarian.

Checklist of what to bring:

  • Country Flag recommended size 100cm x 60 cm

  • Poster (60cm wide, 80cm height)

  • Make sure you have valid travel insurance

  • Make sure you have a valid Swedish visa (if required) and a valid Danish visa if you are flying into Copenhagen Airport

  • Make sure you have any travel vaccines that are required

  • Bring something for the fun and food market

  • Prepare for your cultural performance

Schedule:

The conference running times are approximately 8.30-21.30. You will present your projects twice; once on Tuesday and once on Thursday. The poster presentations will take place on Monday and the Cultural Performance will be on Wednesday night with the Food and Fun market on Tuesday night. The detailed schedule is on its way soon!

21st of January 2024

Information on the application form and fees for the conference

in order to qualify for the Early Bird Prices your application for registration at the CEI 2024 conference both digitally as well in person needs to be submitted by the 7th of February. After the 7th of February normal registration fees will apply, unless otherwise agreed with CEI Sweden.
